Terms of Service

In effect from 2026-08-10

These terms apply to couples and their collaborators. If you are a wedding professional, the Partner Terms apply to you instead.

1. Who you are contracting with

Latido is operated by Szénási Dániel e.v., registered seat 6727 Szeged, Érc utca 17., registration number 62646068, tax number 92262081-1-26, email hello@latido.wedding. By creating an account you accept these terms. They are concluded electronically, in English or Hungarian, and we store the record of your acceptance. They are not filed with any authority.

2. What Latido does

Latido is a wedding-planning service: a guest list with RSVPs, a seating and venue layout editor, a budget, a run-sheet, vendor collaboration, a directory of wedding professionals, and a guest-facing wedding website. We add, change and occasionally remove features. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it.

3. Price

Latido is free for couples. If we ever introduce a paid feature for couples, we will tell you the price before you buy it, you will have to opt in, and section 10 will apply.

4. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
  • Give accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your wedding, including what your collaborators do.
  • One person may own several weddings; several people may share one.

5. Your content, and other people’s data

Everything you put into your wedding stays yours. You grant us only the rights we need to store it, display it to the people you share it with, back it up, and run the service.

This next part matters. When you add guests, their contact details, dietary requirements and allergies, or a vendor’s contacts, you are the data controller for that information and we act as your processor. That means:

  • You decide what to collect and why, and you must have a lawful basis for it.
  • Allergy and dietary details are health data. Collect them only for catering, only from guests who choose to give them, and do not use them for anything else.
  • Share with vendors only what a vendor needs. Latido defaults to sharing no guest data at all, and lets you release it one category at a time — please use that rather than sending a spreadsheet.
  • Guest personal links are keys to that household’s RSVP. Send them to the household, not to a public channel.
  • Answer your guests if they ask what you hold about them. We will help.
  • Our Data Processing Terms form part of this contract and set out how we handle it. They are your GDPR Article 28 agreement with us — you do not need to send us a separate one.

Because this section places a real obligation on you rather than simply describing our service, we do not bury it. Before any guest data first enters a wedding, Latido shows you this responsibility on its own screen and asks you to confirm it explicitly. We record that confirmation. If we ever change what this section asks of you, we will ask again rather than rely on your original acceptance.

6. The guest wedding website

  • Your site is never indexed by search engines. It can additionally be password-protected.
  • You are the publisher of what appears on it and are responsible for that content, including photos of identifiable people and anything guests submit.
  • Guest photo uploads and guestbook entries are held for your moderation and appear only when you approve them.
  • We may remove content that is unlawful or breaches section 8, and will tell you why.

7. Your inspiration board

  • You can save pictures to an inspiration board and share it with the vendors you have engaged. It is off-limits to anyone else and never appears on a public page.
  • You choose what to put there, and you confirm you have the right to share those images with your vendors. Latido does not copy images from Pinterest or anywhere else — a saved link stays a link to the original.
  • A vendor sees the board only while you leave that sharing switch on, and you can turn it off at any time.
  • We may remove an image that is unlawful or breaches section 8, and will tell you why.

8. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing or hateful content.
  • No uploading other people’s personal data that you have no right to share.
  • No scraping, bulk extraction, reverse engineering, or probing our security or other users’ data.
  • No malware, and no using Latido’s email features to send unsolicited commercial messages.
  • No using contact details you obtain through Latido to market unrelated services.

If you think something on Latido is unlawful, tell us at hello@latido.wedding with a link and an explanation. We will look at it, act where we should, and tell you and the affected user what we decided and why. This is our notice-and-action mechanism under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act.

9. Latido AI

Where available, Latido AI drafts text for you to review. It runs only when you ask it to. Output can be wrong, and you are responsible for checking it before saving or sending. Do not rely on it for legal, financial or medical judgement — including catering decisions that depend on an allergy.

The Latido AI unlock (paid)

Latido AI is the only paid feature for couples. It is a one-time purchase for one wedding, in two forms: “Invitation” (3,990 Ft — the invitation in the Print studio, up to 15 designs or adjustments, the files to download and print) and “Latido AI — everything” (9,990 Ft — every card type in the Print studio, a copy for every guest and table, up to 150 generations, the files, and the AI drafts). An Invitation unlock can be upgraded by paying the difference (6,000 Ft), and a full unlock can be topped up with 50 further generations (1,990 Ft). Prices are final; we are VAT-exempt and nothing is added at checkout. Payment is taken by Stripe; we issue a Hungarian invoice for every purchase.

The unlock belongs to the wedding and is shared by everyone collaborating on it. It is valid until 60 days after the wedding date recorded when you buy (or for 12 months if no date is set yet). Every design you generate — including a correction our verifier requests and a copy made for a guest or a table — counts as one generation; the ceilings are stated before you buy and shown in the studio. Before you pay we ask you, explicitly and separately, to request immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose the 14-day withdrawal right as a result; without that request the purchase does not proceed. Files you generated stay with your wedding and are deleted with it (see our Privacy Policy on erasure). A refunded purchase stops the unlock; files already made remain yours.

10. Cancelling, and your right of withdrawal

You can stop using Latido and delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & your data. Deleting your account removes your weddings and their contents.

If you ever buy a paid digital service from us as a consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.). If you ask us to start immediately and acknowledge that you lose that right once performance has begun, the right ends at that point. We will always ask for that acknowledgement explicitly rather than burying it.

11. Suspension and termination by us

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the law. Except where the law or an urgent security risk requires otherwise, we will tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond and to export your data first.

12. Liability

Latido is a planning tool. It is provided as-is and we do not warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and wherever Hungarian law does not permit liability to be excluded — nothing here limits those. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of data where you could reasonably have kept your own copy (you can export at any time).

We are not a party to any contract between you and a vendor and are not responsible for the vendor’s performance, pricing or conduct. Vendor listings and any recommendation of one vendor to another are information, not advice or endorsement.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will publish the new version and notify registered users by email at least 15 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law or purely in your favour. If you do not accept it, you may close your account before it applies.

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

Write to hello@latido.wedding first — we answer complaints within 30 days. As a consumer you may also turn to:

  • The conciliation board (békéltető testület) for the county of your residence — a free, out-of-court procedure. Contact details for all boards are at bekeltetes.hu. We are obliged to cooperate with the procedure.
  • Your local consumer-protection authority (kormányhivatal fogyasztóvédelmi osztálya).
  • The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
  • The ordinary courts.

15. Governing law

Hungarian law applies, and the Hungarian courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in another EEA country, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country. If any clause is invalid, the rest stands.
