What to look for
- 01Sound and light: what they bring (speakers, a microphone for speeches, lighting) and whether it suits the room — a large barn may need separate sound hire.
- 02Flow: ceremony music, entrance, dinner, first dance, menyasszonytánc, late night — walk through what you expect when, and who announces.
- 03Hourly or package: until when, what an extension costs, and what happens if the schedule slips.
- 04References: ask for video of a wedding party they played; a club DJ and a wedding DJ are two different trades.

- A DJ is more flexible and cheaper, plays every style and takes no breaks; a band gives a show. Many couples combine them: band after dinner, DJ until dawn.
- When should we book a DJ?
- Good wedding DJs fill peak-season Saturdays 6–12 months ahead.
