What to look for
- 01Deliverables: highlight film, longer documentary, raw footage, the full ceremony — what you get and when.
- 02Audio: do they record vows and speeches separately (lav mic, recorder)? Sound makes the film.
- 03With the photographer: have they worked with your photographer, or come as one team — the two are in each other’s way all day.
- 04Drone: licence, and whether the venue allows it.
Common questions
- Do we need video if we have a photographer?
- Not required, but most couples who skipped it miss the sound and motion afterwards. On a tight budget, shorter coverage (ceremony + first dances) is an option.
- When is the film ready?
- A highlight typically in 4–12 weeks, the full edit up to 3–6 months in peak season — ask in writing.
